Marbella Business Weekend is a corporate event that provides opportunities for future business collaborations, in a framework of team activities and marketing. In addition to high-class activities the weekend includes a number of events together with competitions and a Dinner Club on the final day.
History
In 2014 the first Marbella Business Weekend took place. The event was part of the corporate and celebrity golf, MPC Stjärngolf Sweden Tour. The winners from each location in Sweden qualified to Marbella to compete in Miami Business Weekend.
The foundation of the event has remained, but is constantly under development. Changing golf courses and adding activities are important for us to maintain high quality. The golf event has been arranged at the Marbella Club Hotel Golf Resort, Los Naranjos, Finca Cortesin and La Zagaleta Golf Club. In 2016, tennis was added to the activities, arranged at Puente Romano where the closing banquet also took place.
In 2018, tennis was changed to padel and the competition arena was the newly built Los Monteros Racket Club.
2023 has the same bases as 2022 with golf and padel as main activities. The arena for the golf competition is the high-class Marbella Club Golf Resort while the padel tournament is arranged at Marbella Sports & Padel Club.
MBW ends with dinner and festivities in true Dinner Club spirit at Supper Club, Puente Romano.
Activities
Meet & Greet
We invite all participants to an opening meet & greet, offering a good start to the weekend. The evening is exclusive for MBW participants together with partners and specially invited guests.
MBW – Padel
Companies participate with teams of employees, customers and partners. The tournament is arranged at the Marbella Sports & Padel Club and played in women’s, men’s and americano class.
MBW – Golf
Companies participate with teams of their own employees and selected customers / partners. The competition is arranged at the high-class Marbella Club Golf Resort.
Dinner Club
Marbella Business Weekend ends with a dinner exclusively for the participants and partners of the event together with specially invited guests. The dinner is made in truly Dinner Club spirit including “sharing food menu”, entertainment and a number of surprises.
